Committee Chairs and Volunteers

Chairs are typically appointed by the Board and leads, coordinates, and oversees all matters concerning the activity or event for that committee. The Chair organizes, plans, and then delegates smaller tasks to other volunteers for additional help (through Membership Toolkit), as well as promotes any volunteer positions and the event or activity on the Booth Hill parents and PTA Facebook pages. Chair positions can be shared between two people. Attendance at monthly PTA meetings is encouraged, but not required. If a Chair cannot attend the meeting, it's encouraged to provide a monthly update to the Board in advance, so that it can be provided at that meeting. Each Chair commits to operating within the agreed-upon budget.
