2023 Walk-A-Thon Kickoff! on September 19th

What is the Walk-A-Thon Fundraiser?
This is our major fundraiser of the year! Last year, over $28,000 was raised as a school and the PTA was able to purchase a Kiln system which the children will use during art and us parents might use for a future Adult Night Out..., it also served to finance the Emotion into Art Assembly, the Gym Flat Screen TV, speakers, protective gear, Spooktacular, Staff Appreciation luncheons, Ben's Bells Mosaic in honor of Mrs. Lisa Beers, After School Enrichment Teacher Coordinators' pay, field trips, Scholastic newsletter, Blue organizing folders, Arts for Learning CT Program that we split with PTAC to whom we pay yearly dues, mini-teacher grants and so much more! We recognize that sometimes it can be overwhelming to have too many fundraisers throughout the year, so we are looking to make this our one major event helping fund the PTA for the school year. The Walk-A-Thon event will be done in person at school. More details will be sent out as the date gets closer.
